Main duties of the job The General Practitioner role involves delivering high quality clinical care to registered patients attending the GP surgery. Collaborate closely with clinical leads and local practice teams to support operational goals. Maintain quality within practice through clinical governance activities, audits, and frameworks aimed at improving health outcomes. Responsibilities include in-person and video consultation sessions, telephone triage, clinical administration, safeguarding, home visits, surgery meetings, and on-call duties, except out of hours. Adhering to GMC standards, patient care is prioritized. Work with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan that includes growth, patient satisfaction levels, enhanced services, and resource management.
