Join Elysium Healthcare as the Category Manager - Property & Capital Projects to drive value, strengthen supplier performance, and support the successful delivery of our capital investment programme. In this role, you will lead procurement activity across a diverse portfolio of property and capital expenditure, including construction and refurbishment projects, planned capital works, furniture and equipment, professional consultancy services, and project management support. Working closely with Property, Estates, Finance, and Operational teams, you will develop category strategies and sourcing plans that maximise value, reduce risk, and support Elysium's growth ambitions. You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, from market engagement and tendering through to contract negotiation, supplier selection, and project mobilisation. Main duties of the job The role of Category Manager - Property & Capital Projects at Elysium Healthcare is ideal for experienced procurement professionals with a background in property, construction, estates, or capital projects. As the category manager, you will oversee procurement activities to enhance value and supplier performance while supporting capital investment initiatives. Your responsibilities include leading procurement strategies across property and capital expenditures, forging strong stakeholder relationships, and managing supplier arrangements. Deliverables include cost savings and project value maximization, while ensuring compliance with project goals. Expertise in procurement, category management, and supplier negotiations is key, with desirable experience in healthcare or related regulated sectors.
